Looking for a long-distance cruiser to sail around the globe? The Satellite 44, designed by Van der Stadt Yacht design, has been built in wood core with glass fibre epoxy having additional Twaron roofing to protect against collisions to e.g. floating steel containers. She has been equipped with a hydraulic lifting keel (1.50 keel up and 2.80 keel down) so that the beautiful shallow anchoring spots can also be reached. The ship is also equipped with very heavy and solid deck fittings, a cutter rig so that a cutter jib can be sailed in heavy weather conditions. Everything on board is heavy-duty so that you can sail safely and comfortable on all oceans of the world. This long-distance cruiser is still in the hands of the same owner since the day she was launched in 2000. She is ready to take her new owners on a long-range voyage. Full maintenance history available. Enroute to Elburg, the Netherlands. Will arrive in Elburg at the end of September.
